At Balance Studio we offer 24-Bit Multi-track Recording with Pro Tools 9 HD. Having a, virtually, unlimited number of tracks makes it easy to capture every important detail of your song.

Mixing involves taking all of the different instruments and elements of the song, and through the use of EQ, Compression and other FX, blending them into a song that is sonically pleasing.

Mastering is often confused with Mixing and is sometimes overlooked. However, its a very crucial part of the process. Once the song is mixed. The stereo track is then brought up to a louder volume level and compressed so that it is ready for radio play.

THE STUDIO

Balance Productions has been providing professional audio services to Southern Louisiana since 1999. Originally started by producer Dave Fortman (Evenesence, Mudvayne, Slipknot..)as a single room recording studio, Balance has turned into something bigger. By teaming up with the best engineers and facilities in the area, Balance Productions guides each project through the recording process guaranteeing that it will be done at the right place, with the right person and at the right price!

David Troia has been engineering in the studio for 13 years. The majority of those years were spent working closely with Multi-Platinum Producer and Ugly Kid Joe Guitarist, Dave Fortman. David is the In House Engineer for Fortman's recording studio "Balance Productions," in Mandeville, LA. In a short time, David made a name for himself on both local and national levels. Working with legendary artist, Pantera frontman Philip Anselmo and achieving engineering credits on major label has given David the experience and knowledge to be able to adapt to any situation that may happen in the studio.

David also plays bass in the Rock Band "12 Stones."
